Yes! A ray of light. Small, but it is a group of rays that makes for a beam of light that then makes for a greater light source. You’re probably thinking this is about community but that’s not where we are focused today. Today this ray of light has come to tell you that you can make a difference and collectively these differences engineer change.
Let’s start here… we are making the difference. Dear ray of light it could be as small as helping your roommate clean up after they had their meal which you did not even take part of, a small act like that reminds them that they can be cared for and there doesn’t have to be a catch. You could be healing 11 years of the trauma of a mishandled childhood. Engraving on their heart that it’s okay to be cared for you could also show them that it’s okay to let other people help you work out your mess because we are interrelational beings. You can teach someone about salvation through only this.
It could also be as small as giving grace, in a situation where you where genuinely wronged and they really deserved to have it coming. Give grace to them, show them that’s forgiveness is a possibility. Allow them to see the part of God that is a forgiving father that you preach. Allow your heart to accommodate them show them love by living it out.
Dear ray of light today I’m writing to because my heart is in a place where I need for you to learn to show others love just as I have loved you.it is my desire that you grow well in these teaching I engrave on your heart each time you encounter, me. In many ways you will continue to reflect our relationship and it’s in the smallest of things that the greatest impact will be birthed.
with love,
Kana Lusuba.
